Well that was pretty easy..... (car sold)

Post by jj » Fri May 04, 2007 9:45 am

Got a call the day I put my car on Pistonheads from a main dealer down south - bottom line is, car sold and for the full asking

Being collected next week, and the checkers are off, the exhaust and decat and all the stickers are off, and it strangely doesnt really feel like "my car" now.

So if anyone is looking for some HIDs, the 2Bular and decat, and a couple of other bits and bobs keep an eye on the classifieds....

next!

I do trust that we won't be going for a bankers draft and you will be looking up the dealers number in phone book and calling them back

A dealer buying a car up north for the full price sounds fishy to be honest

Or perhaps a little too cheap...

Congrats though!

It seems only fair that since my car has a fair chunk of your old one in it I should get first dibs on the raping of your current one...

Do you think they'd notice if we swapped the engines?!?!

Not too sure to be honest as to the what is next, going to take my time (probably not, will be bored in a week and want a car) and wait for the right thing to come on to the market....

You are welcome to the checkers Jim, they are in the wheelie bin ready for you to collect.

Dont think it was priced "too cheap", seemed on its money to me - in fact, I have done OK factoring in the costs and miles over the 14months

Kenny, seeing as you are tight, you can have the HIDs for £50*

congrats on the sale... that was extremely fast. Wonder how much mark-up the dealer is hoping to make if they paid full asking price...

I doubt a dealer would get any more than 22995 for the car. I might be wrong though. Factoring in the fact it need tax, they have to add VAT, and put up with the selling of it, I cant see how they can be bothered..... :?

JJ I am utterly skint this month with new tyres, B service and MoT required but I want the HID's. Will see if I have the funds in a week or two, or your could give them away for silly money before then :P
