Yep - got a pair of them last year.
Nice shoe, but not up to much for driving - there is very little ankle support and leaves you with sore feet after too long.
More a fashion accessory than anything to help your driving.
BUT................
I do have a wee story about mine.
Put them on (christmas present last year) and jumped into the elise. Got to the end of the street and decided to turn on the radio (normally listen to CD's) - I was amazed to hear Fleetwood Mac's "the chain" just at the right bit! Coincidence, I like to think not

I think my sister used to wear a pair of boots like that out in town in the mid eighties...
