House Alarm Engineer

Chatting to a colleague at work today and he mentioned that he was trying to find a reputable house alarm engineer to re-programme the zones on his system. He was given an engineers manual for the system (which is a Nexus alarm), but can't make head nor tail of it.

He's based in the Dunfermline area, and i wondered if anyone on here knows of or has used an engineer in that area that they would recommend?
