Looking to purchase one for not only my trip to france etc but also to help with work, looked at the Garmin Nuvi 660 (europe) at nearly £300 it aint cheap but it does have bluetooth meaning it's also a hands free kit, another thing I need !!!
Any suggestions, what does everyone else have ?

tomtom710, most of the time its in the S6 but I use it in the Lotus for long runs.
cant fault it...
I also have a Road Angel 6000 for the camera updates which I prefer for that role, never out of the Lotus
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

I bought a new TomTom 910 off eBay for £220. I only need the 710 but this was the same price and has all of Western Europe, USA, plus a 20gb hard drive and remote control.
In addition it reads out the street names, which the 710 did not, and you can store all your music onto it.

I have built in DVD SatNav in the M3 with the TV option, but the TomTom is great for hire cars and the bluetooth option is great, even accepting text messages from loved ones (just have to make sure my wife doesn't see it

TomTom the way forward
The new ones have a widescreen but the slightly older ones you can still get cheap - and they are just as good - I have one with Europe and its great
