Mate bought my mums old car a few years back and now it appears to have failed it MOT for corrosion and a few other bits and bobs. £300 to repair.
Engine, alloys seats and sports steering wheel are all in good cond, reckon it is worth a punt on ebay ?

Give it a shot... If you've got steelies to go on it, you'll get more (perversely) by flogging the wheels separately.

Good point on spare wheels for it. Are the councils up here obliged to pick up car for the scrappy ?
