After a very long day, I'm finally home with my new toy...Caterham SLR
Big thanks to Thinfourth for coming with me. Flight to Birmingham and a very long drive home sitting in bank holiday traffic. Left just south of Birmingham at 1.30 and that's me just at 12.45am!
I think I've almost passed the Caterham test...rain and cold night driving. It also attract a little attenton with people stopping on the motorway to speak to you. At one point in traffic folk from the other side of the motorway were speaking to us. Wonder if we will be on youtube with the amount of folk taking video footage...hello to the hot bird in the R32 if you're reading!

I know nothing of Caterhams so a few of the SE'rs kept me right (Thinny, Ross and Dave L; thanks to those guys. You've had to put up with a few emails :p )
Well the car.....AMAZING!
Pops bangs...spits flames and is pretty quick off the mark

A complete different animal from the Exige. Being on track is going to be a whole new ball game. It's been pretty pampered...10K miles since new and 1K miles in 3 years!!
Never thought I would ever buy a 7 but don't knock it until you've tried it. I was hooked after a 3hr autotest! Once that happened, the Evo or Scooby idea was out the window and the decision for a Caterham and Shed was made.
Tillet seats next and maybe aeroscreen.

Better pics to follow.
