Elise photo from KH yesterday

Never seen an Elise lift a front wheel during hard cornering before. Didn't notice this until I looked at the photos this morning - was just a fluke getting the timing!

Other photos here:

A few are of the same cars, which reflects that cars on track when I got the camera out. I do have some others that I've not uploaded yet, as not had time and working from a 56k dial-up at home!

Happens all the time, as long as you're trying hard enough ;-)

That's right, you aren't trying hard enough. Mind you, if you saw your front wheel lifting, you would be in a lot of trouble :-)

I think it's just down to timing on the camera and what your bump/rebound is like ;-)

It also helps to be a fat barsteward as the extra weight higher up causes more body roll (I am sure Kelvin has a photo of me lifting the inside front at East Fortune from a long time ago).

Cheers,
Robin

Rear end to soft, compared to the front. In effect, the front anti roll bar is lifting the inside wheel off the ground.

It does not mean there is a problem in the chassis. Might not want it doing that at higher speeds though.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Got to be better than lifting a rear and spinning away the power

I've uploaded a larger, cropped version of the photo, now that I'm at work and not hampered by a dial-up modem that connects at 41.2K!

It's not that sharp, as the camera was still set-up for panning shots, but I'll learn for next time :)
