Where to look

Anywhere else to look for cars other than Pistonheads or Autotrader?
Been looking for an S2 (sorry Noops and the rest) 03 - 05 and prefering the 111S variant.

Had thoughts on these:-
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/143830.htm
Ever tried to get a flight to Aberdeen from Edinburgh? £501 single!

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/135488.htm
8) But I just keep asking myself why isn't is selling?

Autotrader
Under budget, so could fix fan and have money left over.

Any other places to try/thoughts on what I've picked out?
Or Xbox360/PS3

Cheers for any input.

Does anyone here know/own that car?
Ask Dan at JPS about it.

Why fly to Aberdeen? That price is probably via Amsterdam or something :o

Eddy to Abz is a short train journey.
If you want, I can check out the Abz one for you.
Inspection will be down to, condition of car, oil/coolant, pads/disks/suspension/ etc
Nothing too technical.

he has been considering it for a while Scott.
He wants to go back to an S1 Elise/exige I think, as its not his daily drive.

He did have a PH advert a few month ago, but I think he's been tied up with house purchase...

Gareth, thanks for the offer. I may well take you up on that. :thumbsup

MacK, silly me. Being in the Borders I don't tend to think of trains. All the stations down this way are used as holiday cottages. But will give Dan a ring. Rang this morning and spoke to Luke about the one in Autotrader.

Cheers.

Edinburgh to Aberdeen is only about 2 and a half hours by train, cost me £33 when I went up to buy Gareth's Exige a couple of weeks back :)

Got a call from the seller.
1. Financed through Lotus (LLoyds TSB) and is only looking for the balloon payment.
2. No stone chips as girlfriend put a "dint" in it on the driveway and has had a respray.
3. Driving light to be changed, as lens is cracked. Has light but not got around to it yet.
4. Chip in windscreen, repaired but wouldn't pass MOT. Offered to replace on his insurance.

All little niggley things perhaps, but the "dint" concerns me the most.

Got some thinking to do. :scratch

I wouldn't worry about a dint - i think the majority on here will have had some form of Fibreglass repair at some point? As long as it was fixed properly it should be fine!

i'd get it check but as long as the crash structure is intact, not worth worrying about at that cash!

All the best cars have dints at the front - isn't that right Shug

I think the 111R looks like a great deal for the price! Go for it Stuart! :thumbsup Once you've had 2nd cam, you'll never look back! ;) 8)

Do you think the guy with the 111S took the picture of the dials just after he turned the ignition key? I hope so . . . otherwise, his MIL light (and others) are on! Bit daft showing that! Might be why it's not selling!
