Hi, my S1 135 has a plate attached on the engine stating SPRINT RACING PRODUCTS LTD. On looking up Companies house i see that they were based in Somerset, dissolved in 2002. Motor vehicle parts and sales. All accounts were up to date, they were in business 3 years. Was wondering what they did to it

the plate aint a sticky and its not what i would expect as a result of purchasing an exhaust etc - usual product advert . Chrome engraving on large- ish plate.
Anyone heard of anything or seen something like it? I believe the car was first bought in Newcastle....then 2nd owner near Glasgow...but he has gone to Thailand
Methinks rolling road test to see if anything going on?
when ive done the oil change and sourced not so performance leakage
Any ideas/ knowledge

I think N1 TUT had a Sprint K-series in the dim and distant past, so there's your comparison: Start it up. If blue smoke comes out the back and it idles like it's retching, then it's probably a Sprint head.

Sprint racing was run by a guy called Simon back in the 98/99/00 era if I remember correctly.
They were pretty good, but in the end there wasn't enough money in it and he got a better offer. I bought a couple of bits and bobs off them, and Nick Rossi's old car had the full Sprint Racing kit on it. I wonder if your car is that car ... Nick, what was your old Reggie?
Cheers,
Robin
