I have been in the motor trade in parts for 18 years now and was moved to Lotus from BMW in December ' 2006.
Lotus are completely new to me and i am still learning about the product and procedures with Lotus which are very different from what i was used too but getting there.
What i obviously have found from the various forums is a great deal of feedback on the dealer as a whole.
What i am trying to do in the parts department is provide the service which i think Lotus customers deserve but this is a learning curve and mistakes will happen occasionally but i will strive to correct any errors with minimum of inconvience but please remember it is Lotus who make up the price of parts and not MMC or myself.
With regards to Lotus deliveries they have two weekly stock order deliveries**:
Parts ordered on Tuesday are delivered Thurdsday
Parts ordered on Thursday are delivered for Saturday or Monday.
Any VOR orders to Lotus and they will charge a carriage charge of £10.00
** All deliveries are subject to avaialbility from Lotus
There has been a recent small price increase from Lotus which we have had problems loading onto our system but we are working on it at the moment.

We have internal group vans which run into Glasgow, Stirling, Perth, Dundee & Aberdeen so if anyone is struggling to pick up any ordered parts i can arrange for the group van to take the part to their nearest John Martin Group dealer to collect from there (FOC)
or i can arrange postage / courier service at an additional cost
