Airport carpark!

I had the car parked at Glasgow airport (£26 for a day and a half!). When I got to the barrier, I stuck my ticket in... and waited ... and waited ... and waited.
I pressed the HELP button and asked what the hold up was. It was because I didn't have a front number plate (fell off officer). It seems the barrier wont go up until the registration plate has been read. I had to give it to the guy over the intercom thing before he'd let me out.
I knew a friend that used to sneak out after the car in front. But he wont be doing it at the airport again.
Oh and I spotted a yellow S2 just along from me.

Used to sneak out of the Dundee shopping center one sometimes, if the roof was off I could just get under the barrier

Got a freebie at Dynamic earth in edinburgh, the machine doesn't take £20 notes so if you are parking overnight (the bill came to £25 ish) it wouldnt take my money and they let me out for free

I park the Elise in the airport car park quite regularly and never had a problem with it letting me out . . . but I do have a front number plate!

Best one I had was at Inverness airport last year, met my dad and bro at the little aircraft museum they've got there and then went round to the airport for some lunch. My dad went through the barrier first, got his ticket and parked, but when I tried to get a ticket, nothing happened. Pressed the help button and a bloke came out, apparently the car is too light to trip the sensors. Same thing happened trying to get out.
