OK,

So Ive been thinking about getting some stripes.

I have a Saffron Yellow Exige S2, and have seen a few nice pics of a similar car on Exiges.com, with one White Stripe and one Storm Titanium Stripe.

I know this car is Norfolk based, and Im up in Aberdeen, so Im looking for a company that is close(ish) that would be recommended to carry out the work if I showed them pics?

Also, my car has that clear plastic stick on protection, and I would obviously need the stripes (painted or vinyl - Im not sure what would be best) to go under that - So I would need a company that could carry out a re-supply and application of the clear plastic as well.

Can anyone help me out with contacts and recommendations? - is this something which would be best suited to MMC, i.e. give them the car and let them source the best solution, or could I find the suppliers myself?

think those colours are from the Exige Cup 255 - see the spec sheet on Lotus's website.

Did they fit them as well, or did you have to brave it yourself  / find someone else to do it for you?

They did mine as well and are very helpful in picking the size and colour of the stripes and will cut strips so you can see what they look like before they stick them on. Tell them you are from SE and loads of your friends have been to see Colin to get their cars done and I am, sure they will give you a good price. Don't :thumbsup forget to post some photos when you get them done.

Hi Anthony,

I passed you last week outside Clinterty on my way to work. Didn't flash because I wasn't in the Elise and I always think that people wonder why I'm flashing them.

We had Signs Express in Dyce put livery on our van for a not bad price, so I'm sure that they could do stripes for you. I also assume that the location is fairly handy for you.

I've also seen a Smart Refinishers van sitting at the side of the road in the last week advertising some type of vehicle protection. No idea what it is but it might be worth giving them a shout. They're next to Signs Express as well.

...and stripes do look the biz.

Gary.

Maybe they'll do it for free if you let them logo they side of your car as an advert? ;)
