Despite my windging...

Post by Rich H » Thu Jun 14, 2007 4:04 pm

My team manager has put me forward for a team manager job...

Bit of a shock really, got an interview tomorrow at 3

Wish me luck!

Also got confirmation (ish) that the Liz will go in this month for fixing too!

(Might anyway )

It was kind of a given mate, if you weren't promoted in a matter of months!!!

Your brain cells work, and you have manners (sometimes i am sure!)

Anyway, bets of luck matey!

 Cheers gents! :thumbsup

I have a role play with a used-to-be-good-but-now-is-crap employee and an interview. The interview will be a "Tell me about a time when..." and tedious in the extreme but straight forward to deal with.

No proper grilling just let me ramble on about something. I actually miss those interviews, no time to think just answer it quick and get it right... the Hats-on no-coffee type were less fun..

One of my colleagues has a game called Wank Word Bingo. Wank words on a grid, which you cross out during a meeting as people use them and then proclaim "BINGO!" when you get them all! Hilarious if other meeting attendees are not expecting it, but not too clever in front of clients! Can't remember many of the words, but I'm sure it featured "triple bottom line", "wash-up", "take this offline", and other such wonderful wank words!

Hope it goes well mate! Once you get it, I'll try to dig out Wank Word Bingo and send it to you for your meetings!

That's just a rip off of bullsh1t Bingo. It's an outrage !! Your mate needs to tow the line. Does he have an end-game? I'm gonna flag this up the pole and see what flaps. etc etc
