Yeah - for the spectator, what about the co-driver?
Noticed it was a WRC video, can't help think it may have been the incident that killed the Citroen Co-Pilot this year.
Although I think Citroen race in Red, so perhaps not.

I reckon they would have been thrown around a bit but doesnt look like there was enough impact damage to seriously hurt anyone.
I saw a pic of the crashed citreon and it was buckled.

My friend was a marshal at the Jim Clarke rally one year and was run over by one of the competing Volkswagen cars after the driver turned the wrong way at a T junction. VW wouldn't admit any fault despite the driver being fined for not stopping.
Looks funny on TV though

lucky as feck that it was the underside of the car that made contact - @rsed silly place for a damned telegraph pole on a course... I know that they can't exactly move them, but jeez, all it would take is a little running wide there for a wee disaster!

Michael 'Beef' Park RIP
And, as alluded, it was the works Pug 307 - not the world's greatest ever WRC car, by all accounts, therefore it appears that Marko has had to overdrive it everywhere to earn his money
Couple of mates of mine were servicing at that rally for a GpN team. Facking horrible to hear

Indeed but one was a great car the other not so.
The WRC is in a dire situation for next year. Only Subaru and Ford remain as works teams and it looks like TV coverage could get binned as they're not interested in showing a whole lot of privateer entries.
Bring back McRae, Sainz and Makkinen
