Free Weekend at last....ideas!

Hello,
My weekends are rarely "free" - get my son on a Saturday and return him to Mrs Satan on Sunday afternoon.
Anyway she has decided for whatever reason she is keeping him next weekend...
Going to miss the wee fella, but might as well make the most of it!
Any ideas? Want to take the car for a proper drive, go somewhere really cool - I have already thought Alton Towers, but the thought of being a PAX for the 4 hour motorway section kills me! I could shed the L plates but the consequences of being caught are not worth thinking about.
Not sure what the weather is going to be like either, but i'm guessing it will be p1ssing down all over El Scotlando...
If you guys can recommend somewhere where I can take both loves of my life and have a good old time, let me know!
Gary.

I'm more or less off the sauce permanently - I seem to resemble a certain Adolf Hitler when drunk apparently

All lies I swear! Anyone says otherwise, you know what will happen!
Can't smoke either, I am the annoying f*cker who used to cough REALLY BLOODY LOUDLY if you even nearly produced a ciggy packet within 20 feet of me in a public place
That just leavs the ladies...err, I mean lady!

yeah p1ssed me off. Thorpe Park, now if you can get your hands on the Early Bird ULTIMATE tickets (like I did

) , you have unlimted ALL DAY fast track access to every ride in the park. I did Stealth about 15 times in a row, the evil looks I was receiving were the best ever!
I think the tickets are £50 a pop, but well worth it. I definately rode various coasters pretty much constantly from park open to close. Must have queued (sp?) for a total of 15 minutes the whole day.

I was sick just west of Loch Tay with Zippy and Stephen Curle, fantastic roads that didn't appear on our maps

dunno if I could find them again but I remember a no through road sign and a "reservoir access only" sign and lots of fantastic open roads.
Oh and I was somewhat ill due to the night before's excesses....

Not really suitable for learners...
Stick with Shoomers idea of practise parking

Braemar is fine just take the road up form dundee easy, the lower section is hard work! The top section is awesome long curves and high speed quiet roads. Back down over Cairn great fun too, just remember it's not the place to push your luck or skills!!
The girlfriend drove down from Braemar last time I was up there she had a blast. She knackered on of my shocks on the cairn though!

I'll see Shooomer's suggestion and raise you a car wash
