Hello everyone, just another newbie here.
Last weekend I was driving though Braemar, sorry not in a Lotus, and saw what seemed like a hundred Lotus' everywhere.
Having had a quick look through here it was a obviously Tut Towers weekend, and I must say that it looked like an awesome weekend. Such a nice sight seeing another car club putting on what looked like a superb weekend, and what a great turn out.
Nice one.

Thanks. I was just out with my girlfriend for a drive, but I wasn't with the Jap wagons although I did see them a little bit later on in Banchory. Along with the old classic cars which were simply stunning.
I'm a member of the Fiat Coupé Club, FCCUK, so as you'll have gathered drive a coop.

Good to see you post on here. Believe it or not, when I bought my first Elise in '99, the car that I was actually looking to buy was a 20V Turbo Fiat Coupe. Still not sure what happened with the Elise, but ever since then, I have always hankered after a Coupe, but it was just not feasible with three kids and a dog. Plus the wife of course.
I was actually surfing the web today looking at the best chips to up the power, and I dont even have one.
Although we are Scottish_Elises, we do welcome along anybody who is like minded, and enjoys their car just for the love of it.

ps the one with the bright idea of "well what should we do this weekend guys?"

Matty it was actually a treasure hunt car rally where we had to try and find the last pair of shoes that Tut wore. After three days and 800 miles each we all gave up

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, nice to feel welcome even though I don't own one of yours.
Tut, nice to see you've looked at coops in the past. I'm afraid I seem to have Fiats in my blood

but I've owned my 20VT for three years next month and nothing yet has tempted me away. Like you guys, we just love the cars and being different. And as always you're all welcome to pop in past fccuk.org.
Got to say, the 340R is quite a menacing looking beast!! Never seen one in the flesh until that Sunday.

I'm impressed that you came to look us up

That stretch of road truly is awesome! Sadly I didn't see your Coop, I was probably either (a) not there yet, or (b) having to concentrate too much to catch up!
As Tut says, feel free to pop along to any of our events, its always nice to see some variety

Must say, I really hankered after one of those Coupes when they first came out, in yellow ... mmm
