Craigs car

This is not ready for classifieds yet, but as Craig is over in Norway, he asked me to test the waters.
He is thinking of selling his car and buying an early S2 Exige. Not my idea of a good decision, but he must have been mixing too much with shooomer, Gareth, though don't think that he has seen timmsky recently.
Most of you know the spec, low mileage S/C Honda engine, K-Pro ECU, my twin headlight clamshell which he snaffled from me, 2Bular custom made exhaust manifold and backbox, around £1,800 worth, new A048R tyres, and the other usual upgrades for a high power car.
He asked me what I thought it was worth, although more to the point is what someone will pay for it, so I reckon around £18K.

Seems like a mad move, but I would have thought it worth more than that - surely eds exige is a fair (ish) benchmark as to value and it was bought recently given its a SC honda?
The gulf coloured NA one thats cat D was up for £20k.
18 sounds way too low IMHO.

Thats a shame after all that hard work!
There was a car on pistonheads recently that was on at £25k which i thought was too much. I reckon if he priced it between £20-£22k that would be about right!
ps: Remember mine is an exige so that adds abit!

I can understand it if he needs the cash to fund his exploits with Norweigan women........otherwise WTF?
Still bargain to be had for someone

Tut
Let him know I would straight swap it with the seven*
Dave
*Please

ETS: He seemed to be wavering at the TT TD towards looking to move it on and go S2 route.

Sorry for the late reply guys just got back tonight and tut said he posted. I dont really wont to sell its just that I dont need a car as quick as mine. If I could justify having a track car and a nice road car (which I cant) it wouldnt be so bad.
When I first got the elise 3 years ago it was totally standard, could thrash its arse off and still stood a fairly good chance of keeping my license, it is now not possible to drive my car at an "enjoyable pace" on the road without behaving like a complete nutter.
As well as this Charlene used to come out in the car quite regular but now its so brutal she doesnt like it.
Thing is ive never driven an s2 never mind an exige so dont know if ill even like it so thats first, like tut says just wanted your opinion.
Cheers Craig.
