We now have:
An 8 year old MX-5 with a fresh MOT fail for rusty sills (Panicky phonecall from her earlier, about £150 to fix)
A 10 year old Elise with a crunched front end (going for repair, they can match the paint now apparently)
A 30 year old Porka that won't start (Spark problems? Needs investigation)
A 50 year old landrover with a termial fuel leak (About 1" hole. £250 for a new tank??!)

What a collection  Looks like I need to open a scrap yard....

30 years old if you repair it, it will just fly off the road and kill you it's safer not running
A 50 year old landrover with a termial fuel leak (About 1" hole. £250 for a new tank??!)

Rather miffed about the MX-5 TBH, the anti corrosion was only 6 years! Even the recycled milk bottle & stella tin Elise has 8 years (And rotted through the floor on que at 8 years 1 day )

To weld both sills £160 inc VAT seems ok, there was a hole in the one and the other is rusty as hell.

Would have spotted it had she told me it was due
