I've got a nice set of Fila Michael Schumacher boots, full FIA spec with nomex and carbonfibre heel surround, RRP £150, bought for £30 in the Grand Prix Legends sale. They're about the comfiest shoes I own :D

I tried a pair of speedcats and found them uncomfy... (pity coz I really like the look of them) so I've got a pair of those Adidas/Goodyear trainer things. Narrow enough for pricise pedal movement without being uncomfy and are just 'normal' trainers so are often worn for dossing around the shops.

Had them for quite a few years and the soles just don't seem to wear out... wonder if it really is goodyear rubber !!

I'm a speedcat convert too.

They should be tight as hell at first and then take the shape of your foot. Use them for LOTRDC also!

Love them, and hate driving the Elise without them, although I do occassionally do take the Tut approach for longer jaunts :D

Ditto. Shame they re-styled them, my new pair feel bulkier, despite getting them a size smaller :?
