Sanj, never ever ever ever ever buy a merc with a manual gearbox, it is like a faux pas! Besides, he describes it as a smooth gear change, i doubt that very much!

My mum and step dad used to have one of 7 manual c class diesels in scotland. It was awesome, gear change was as smooth as anything.

But yes you guys are getting old!

Mercs are sh1t. How many bits fell off it during the journey?

Seems very well screwed together to me, been a lot less hassle than the 530d it replaced. Did you get cut up by a merc on the way to work today Dom (sees double merc-hating posts )
