RST V8 I think.
Sounds

but reliability is likely to be a bit
If you want that kind of output probably best to go with a Tut esk Honda with a blower.
Somebody who knows more than me will be along soon to give details.

I followed that seloc thread with much interest. Both Craig, and the chap on Seloc have amazing knowledge that got them through. Craig is an electrician so had to call upon all his skills to get by at times, and also had the benefit of ripping N1 TUT to bits to see how it all went. The seloc chap ripped cossies to bits before setting to his Exige, so unless you're committed and have mates in the know... think twice!
IIRC a DIY install = £6k & sleepless nights & no warranty, whereas for £4k more you get an out of the box kit from Blink or link-up. Either way, its a whole wedge of cash! If you can afford it you're a lucky bugger

If your looking at spending that kinda money £6-10k wouldn't it betterspent elsewhere, what kind of K-series do you get for that sort of money ?

Problem with high end K-series is reliability. VHPDs can be got for £1.5k and that gets you 190hp but I think they're far less torquier than the Linda. Also they need a rebuild every £30k miles and some have (as we all know) a propensity to go pop. you can probably get some other derivative K bored out to 1900cc for that sort of cash, but again reliability bites. Peeps seem to love the 'onda for its bullet-proof 'fit & forget' reputation.
I'm sure there are people out there that have gone down the high end K-series route that have spent honda money and look back on what might have been. I doubt that you could say the same about those that go Linda (Ed's problems don't count)

FF6 - 3 honda drive shafts, 1 K-series drive shaft, no engine failures for either.
The guts of the engine may be bullet proof, but its installation in the elise is not. That's not to say the K offers many better options, just that either way, you want ~200 ponies, you're going to have reliability problems in one way or another.
Cheers,
Robin

Eh,not quite.
The Honda engines are good, yes, but fit and forget, not quite. As Robin said,if you want 200+ horses you will have some sort of issues either way.
There is always a price to pay.
(just with a K,its less)
((But with a K,there is,sometimes ,less power.)
