Hey guys new to this forum so hi everybody!!!
Just want to know if anyone knows the price of some parts of hand,
I've been looking at a few motors and all the kick plates are always scuffed and marked so was after some new ones?
Rough cost of disks and pads?
Cost of a new clutch kit for the S2 k series?

Many thanks

Check out http://www.eliseparts.com that will cover almost everything. I would be suprised if the clutch needs doing, even with abuse they last forever.

MMC Parts Man on this forum is the parts guy, Darren, from Murray Motors in Edinburgh. He'll do you a discount of 10% on most official Lotus parts if you tell him you're a member of Scottish Elises. PM him or call him at Murrays and he should be able to give you prices.

And I thought I took a long time to find an Elise

If I've got you right, the kick plates aren't 'plates' but are in fact the chassis. It's brushed aluminium so non cleanable (on the S1 at least).
All part of the fun of owning a Lotus owning :D To be honest you never notice these things again after about 1 day of ownership/driving! You'll find out why :thumbsup

Rich, I was wondering about that, 8 years old and 55k and I think I've still got the original!? I keep waiting on it going, how long do they normally last??

I dunno, I have had a replacement but that was due to a beakdown rather than wear.

Yeah i know it's taken me ages but am getting their now. Went to MMC today to get some prices. Seems rather dear. the plastic rubber plates that go over the tub are £48 + vat each. Am also after a price for the silver plastic cover that goes over the gear stick linkage/ transsmision tunnel and hand brake? It's a S2

Oh and anyone know the history of X691 USG a blue S2? with 45k miles

Many thanks
