Managed to hit approx 7,800 rpm in 6th tonight! Car felt very solid. I was very impressed. However, when I was changing the CD it was a little tricky to pop the other one in. Anaybody got any good CD changer recommendations?

I have seen 8200 in 5th in my car, with K series lots of times.
With the s/c gearbox that was 137 tuts,on the track.
I am sure it is the same as 4th in a std box.

I think my car would disintegrate at those kinda speeds.

S2 is better at high speeds. Less lift, so more stable.

Tut's car had rev indicated 154 at the end of the straight at Dijon.
Which was interesting as his brakes were...
The shed maxed at 125 (in 4th) even with Robins late brake/compromise the next corner technique gaining 0.05 mph.

2 up that dropped to 120 which was just about the previous corner exit difference. In 5th it just stopped accelerating...while I had a nap, read newspaper etc.
