Been a long time since I bought one, apart from checkign the VIN anything else I should be checking ? Guy seems pretty trustworthy as he is about 70!

I`ve always checked the VIN on the car matches what is on the Hpi and what is on the V5 - rightly or wrongly, I`ve not bothered checking engine numbers. Hpi and all the numbers matching up and doubt you can go far wrong.....
