I'm getting fed up travelling out there every time my car plays up, since they've closed the Glasgow branch. Is there no one else approved to do it? Is it worth writing to Hethel and asking the question?

I have no issue with MMC themselves, other than the fact that they are 150 miles away from my house, and I will have to drive out once to have the prognosis confirmed, and then again once the parts come in to have it repaired.

I would not have bought the car, had I known they were closing the Glasgow branch.

if you phone the warranty company directly and tell them what garage to use they can agree for the work to be done there.....

Bada Bing is talking about manufacturers warranty, as opposed to the third party warranty you would get with a used car

I am sure that Lotus have approved warranty work at some specialists before, but there is nowhere near here that I would think able to do it (or be able to get authorisation from Lotus to do it)
