They fit the S2 Exige 240PP ... I think ... I didn't realize there was more than one of these kits floating about ... how would one tell which is which?

I'm 99% sure this is what I ordered ... pads aren't here, otherwise I could confirm:

Lewis,

I think you'd be absolutely crazy to spend that sort of money on that brake setup on your car for your use. Completely pointless IMHO unless of course you are just doing it for looks, which is fine if that's how you wish to spend your money. :thumbsup

Yeah that's exactly what has stopped me from doing it in the past if i'm honest... It's mostly down to looks. The deal that I could potentially get on them however seems a bit of a no-brainer though which is why it's stuck in my mind at the moment!

Great to hear that Craig is keeping up the good work in my absence (I'm on the phone to him every couple o days so would slag him off if he wasn't) - I take it everybody is preferring the Volvo service reception too, a nicer place to collect your cars?

Got to add my thanks to Craig over past few weeks, sorting out 4 tyres, geometry and checking out radiator and brakes.
Talked to Craig a number of times, he kept me up to date on progress, what he found and talking over the geometry set up. Even emailed me a picture of the Larini exhaust my car has as I knew it wasn't standard but wasn't sure what it was.
Although I didn't take up his offer, he also made a genuine discounted offer on brakes.

Got a BMW, they keep talking about how they keep you informed etc etc but when I ever ask any questions or asked to be informed post any investigations they always seem to mess up or didnt know the full answers so is always just a waste of time.

Felt this was much different, Craig's updates via phone and email were informative and useful as per a lot of other posts mention so thanks.
Haven't had a chance to check out the new CLCM geometry set up as wanted to be kind to the new tyres but braking is much improved (no front wheels locking) and steering does feel livelier and lighter - not sure if that is just because the front tyres now have some inner tread but will find out soon!

Elaine's 111R went in for a yearly service and some additional work yesterday (tyres, new rad fans) and Craig really is still doing the business. Dropped it in the morning before heading to the office and on to the radio station and despite it being clam off and the rad fans needing some WMD action to get them free, it was finished ahead of time and cleaned inside and out, ready to collect when I finished the show in the afternoon.

Decent deal for bunching the work together, great service and the car came back pristine with a full rundown of everything done. Also a full appraisal of the car and what's going to need done next and roughly when.

Keep it up mate - delighted to have a main dealer to deal with that defines the standard of service for others to live up to - a stark contrast to the dark days of MMC!

Just had the car serviced by Murrays today and have to say that i`m well chuffed.First time that i`ve met Craig, great bloke, took loads of time to discuss all that would be happening with the service, and when i returned ran through everything that had been done in detail.A big thanks for the SE discount and the smaller bill than i had expected. The car was gleaming when i picked it up,cheers to whoever got their hands dirty. All in all a thouroughly good experience, cheers. :thumbsup

Another :thumbsup for Craig. He has sorted out 4 new wheels for me from the Lotus clearance sale, and will even arrange to get them to MMC in Glasgow for me.

Big thumbs up to Craig again
Had my car in for a service recently and ask if he could have a look at my soft top as it was a very poor fit
After some adjustments was still not happy with it, long story short now I'm getting a new one from Lotus Warranty.

Thanks Craig top job!!

:cheers

Another big thank you to Craig, Calum and the team at MMC for sorting out a wee niggle with the Evora.

Thanks again guys for sorting us out, and good to catch up with Brandon too.

Looking forward to getting the new wheels fitted too.

:thumbsup to Craig and all the guys at MMC again.
Just had a 4 year service last week. They recommended replacing the heat shields, so got parts ordered and fitted within a week.
Nice to have a wee chat with Craig too - great to get that personal touch, particularly as I'm not there often (touch wood, no major probs to date)
Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to ogle the shiny cars in the showroom, but did see a lovely type 72 8)
Thanks guys

Once again, a first class service from MMC, and Craig.

Love the new showroom and service desk area, also spyed the type 72.......very nice.

It has to be said, although they are the only Lotus dealer in Scotland, their customer care levels are outstanding, inparticular Craig, he really has turned th service department around :thumbsup
