Regarding my earlier comments about the state of the car park access road – happy to report that this has since been resurfaced.

(Apologies if this info has already been posted, I haven't read any of the posts since my last one).

Well im converted.

I've been having braking issues with the VX and the car just hasn't been feeling right, so i thought I'd give craig and the guys a chance to work their magic. After a few friendly emails and phone calls a pretty competitive service price was agreed with a promise to look after me on the brake investigation. So I dropped the car off on the Saturday and awaited "the phone call" on Monday.

The phone call came and was delivered with good humour and honesty - the brakes were the least of my issues it would appear  Craig was understanding and offered advice on where i could source parts and what my options were. We then agreed on a stupidly low price to fit the new stuff (suspension, hub, handbrake cable, drop links) and give the brakes a good clear out.

Picked up the car yesterday and it was immaculately clean, ive got a huge print out of all the work that was carried out as well as a note of what might be needed in the next few months. The most impressive thing is that the price hasnt budged one bit but i keep noticing little things that have been done on the car. The boot lid now sits flush, the bit of the brake discs that goes rusty is now painted etc etc etc.

So overall the bill was larger than i was initially expecting (indeed larger than ive ever paid for the vx) but most of the bill was parts and i feel like it was proper value for money. You can't knock the glow of satisfaction from knowing you car has been checked with a fine tooth comb. Kept informed all the way through the process and, initial phone call apart, there were no shocks along the way. So it's a huge thank you from me.

I'll definitely be back :thumbsup

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Awesome service yet again from Craig and his team at MMC last week :thumbsup

Exige had service, MOT, Geo at CLCM, coolant changed, brake fluid changed, new pads all round plus other bits & pieces

No hassle, regular updates by phone and the bill wasn't as hefty as I thought :D

Car returned in immaculate condition with hubs all painted etc.

In 'Carlsberg' terms   Probably the best Lotus Service Dealer in the World :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Thought I'd posted on this but hadn't. New upper steering column fitted courtesy of warranty company (all arranged by Craig) and car returned in showroom condition. Craig was Off when I collected the car and it was nice to get an email from him to check everything was OK.

I thought I was imagining things but after reading the above post my hubs have been painted a nice shiney Silver too (must've been at the service the week before). :D

I stopped in lasty Wednesday on my way to Spa to get couple of niggles fixed, HID's removed (I now remember why I fitted them :(), and the oils and brake fluid changed. All done while I waited and was fed coffee. Was also "forced" into taking the Evora S IPS for a little drive :D . Unfortunately not run in yet but sooo much torque! I'll be back for another shot when it's run in! Awesome car that I can see myself in when I've grown up . The bill at the end was a pleasant surprise and they had me on my way in plenty of time to get the ferry. Big :thumbsup from me as always!

I have to say the service received fron Craig and his team is absolutely brilliant. In some respects this is boring, as I would sooner be moaning.........but I save that for the wife!!!!!!

I have an Elise 111R with an SC conversion. The service was a 54k miles (6 years) and MOT. On top of this I had to improve the car (in my opinion) by " AP big brake conversion", TRD filter, hard top, SC spoiler, GEO and new stalks (don't laugh). Brakes now have more feel and the turn in is perfect.

On top of the above, Craig and the team painted rear brake caliper and discs, machine polished the car, lots of other little jobs and cleaned it to an unbelievable standard.

Upon arrival the car looked like I had just arrived for a test drive of a supercar. Once again I am in love with a car (that over the winter looked all forlorn sitting in the garage).

Craig - Keep up the great service and do not underestimate how much it is appreciated.

Ian Hubbard

PS: I only wish John Clark ABZ offered a comparable service

Had the annual service and MOT a couple of weeks ago.
Once again, faultless service and some additional work done at no extra cost.
Thanks to Craig and the MMC team :thumbsup
Only downside was no sign of Brandon (I think he was out on a test drive) - come to think of it, maybe that saved me a fortune

Just picked up my car on Saturday, after having some work done to it, while I was away a skiing holiday.

New tyres all round, new dampers, and springs front and rear, geo check, new rear toe-links, wiper-blade, type C service, and a M.O.T.

Car feels so much smoother, and I am really happy with it.

Excellent service again, thanks Craig, and Brandon.

Had the Evora out for a test drive too, it's a fantastic piece of kit.

Went in for service, MOT, new tyres, and to get a few things looked at. Craig had his team persevere for some time with a problem on the car, at no additional cost, to ensure it got through the MOT, and was still ready for me to pick it up at the end of the day. Couldn't ask for more than that.

Just settled a bill on the Shugmobile with MMC - had to get Craig to tell me twice how little he was charging me to take off the gearbox, replace the crank seal, put on the gearbox, drill out a snapped bolt on the rear upright, change a balljoint and whip off the front clam to change a rad fan while the windscreen was getting replaced...

We are a lucky mob to have a main dealer that takes such care of their customers - even storing the car for me while I figure out what's being done with it (still for sale in classifieds folks!)

Long live Craig at MMC - even if the Shugmobile goes, I'm glad I'll still be dealing with him for Elaine's car :thumbsup

Had the car in for an A Service last week. Still can't believe I'm taking an eight year old car to a main dealer but its well worth it... nice touch with the brake disk centres being freshly painted.

Thanks again to Craig and the team - see you in September for the MOT.

Cheers,

John

Egor was given some MMC love this week too ... Craig was even complementary about the slightly eclectic paintwork :-)

Anyway, starter and assorted missing bolts replaced including some last minute "pimping" in the car park; great VFM again.

Always a pleasure to chat to Craig and see what's lurking in the showroom (apart from Brandon ;-)) though disappointed that the new Elise SC hadn't arrived yet .... I will have one sooner or later :-)
