Got withdrawal symptoms now that N1 is no more and that he has sorted N3 out.

Still call him with imaginary problems to stay in touch.

A gold nugget, nothing was too much trouble for him.

N3 will be going in with him before next Winter for a new rear clamshell, sill, undertrays, etc, after the off on the way to Spa, and a complete re-spray. Every thing else thanks to Mike, Craig, the AA, is as good or better than new.

Of course the Car Bra will have to come out for the first time on N3 for road runs, I will not be taking it out in the rain, and I will have to buy one of these detailing kits at great expense to clay and polish it each week.

I've had the Elise into Murray's on two occasions lately for service and MOT respectively.

On both occasions the service I received from Craig was outstanding – emails were answered quickly and comprehensively, and nothing was too much trouble. Also, it's certainly not in every main dealership that, on collecting the vehicle, you can spend over 45 minutes chatting to the service manager about the work that's been carried about as well as general gleaning of his knowledge about the cars. I value this.

Generally very happy with the servicing too – slight glitch with the brake fluid change, but that was rectified 100% as soon as was possible the very next day. What clinches it for Murrays is that, in addition to the service, they were able to address a list of issues while the car was in – and at no extra charge. Mostly these were checks for peace of mind or to establish level of wear on certain items, but a couple of minor issues were fixed too. Great stuff.

So overall very pleased, and if I still have the car next time it's due a service (here's hoping) then without question it'll be going along to Murray's.

:cheers

Almost forgot, my disc hubs were painted too - very nice touch! 8)

Another big thanks to Craig and his team. Had the Evora in for a few minor jobs and yet again MMC have surpassed all expectations. All the little parts are what makes Murrays such a pleasure to deal with, the update emails etc..

I can't understand why any Lotus owner would go anywhere else. Fantastic service.

A couple of weeks ago Craig and the team fitted a new black rear diffuser to the Elise. The original was ali and was starting to look very worn.
As always the service was brilliant, as was the price. Job done in 36 minutes from start to finish, just enough time for a coffee and to look at the Evora S!
I agree with Justin, I cant understand why anyone would go anywhere else.

Sure is mate, I did see a few S1 Elises at the back of MMC next to my Club Racer that I thought must belong to some members on here. :)

One less now, the Shuggymobile has been repatriated.

Weird. I did see an S1 that I thought was the shugmachine after it was posted on here for sale but looks like I was mistaken. :)

Well, he got to Glasgow about half 1, so if you were in earlier?

What made you swap the CR for the exige?

Perhaps it was then – there was a S1 all washed up and ready to go with a few stickers on the door.

Don’t want to take this thread too far off topic but.

CR on back roads = yay
CR on motorway = naw

Exige on back roads = yay
Exige on motorway = yay

The ability to p1ss off my neighbours with loud sports car = Exige

congrats on the buy mate! its been very well looked after, i unfortunately have done with this car as i did with my last exige and parked it in the garage and never used it, dont think i will ever learn.

in total over two Exige S cars i have covered 6000 miles between them!

i will need to go back to buying cheap cars and feel good about thrashing than buying a 28k car and worrying about damaging it or something trivial
