Yup mine was in earlier in the week getting the brakes looked at and the service was awesome.
Got a whole load of "Tidying up" little bits and pieces done for nothing and was asked what colour I'd like my brake disks painted. :thumbsup
Also managed to run my car up to Vauxhall as a favour and sweet talked the guys there into getting some issues on my ecu sorted out. <BG>

Was told that the car would be cleaned for me returning. Was expecting a quick power wash but the car was gleaming. I can't remember when the interior looked that clean TBH!

Big thanks to Craig and his boys at MMC for great service at a very good price.

Along with giving it a service and a proper nut and bolt check, they replaced my flywheel (with one I supplied) and starter motor (he found in his parts store), this involved removing my gearbox and then tapping out the holes so they could replace the bolts with the correct ones. (that will be the ones I was left with after I put the gearbox back in myself the last time)

Craig went out of his way to make this as easy as he could for me, great service.

Many Thanks

Scotty

Big thank you to both Craig and Brandon for the excellent level of service I've enjoyed these last few years. :thumbsup
Best I've experienced, period.
However, I do intend to come back to the lotus fold in 4 or 5 years time and I'll know where to come looking for another..
:cheers

My turn to add to this list ... Egor went in for an alternator and came out with, well a frightening list of parts ... I think Egor's stay was second only to N1TUT's :-)

As usual a pleasure to deal with Craig and the bill was not unpleasant either.

Then just when he thought he had gotten rid of my sheds, I dumped the bus on him to get the two front seats restuffed and they are now lovely too.

Fingers crossed Egor has now had enough TLC to survive Spa :-)

Cheers,
Robin

It's turning into a bit of a theme here, but facts are facts.

UJI has just spent a month at Murray, ostensibly for MOT but naturally it also got various bits of overdue housekeeping sorted out by Craig and the Wizards as they must now be called.

As many will know, I've tried for many years now to self-maintain my S1, with spades of help from knowledgeable and benevolent SE members, and judicious use of willing local independent garages. Costs were kept down but attention to detail was always going to suffer. And time has just not been on my side this last 12 months. So the expertise of Murray techs is showing through again. Must be all those weeks spent problem-solving another well-known S1 last year eh...

Steady communication, some upbeat humour, a willingness to fit any self-sourced part you throw at them, and a bill that undercuts realistic expectation. Oh and it got cleaned too. Hm what more could I have asked for. Apart from a new Elise S thrown in obviously.

Thanks Craig and Co. The UJI fund is broadly dry for the remainder of the year but I think she is set up for Oulton/Anglesey and that's what counts.

Loved driving it home and commuting it today. I'm sure sorting all those undertray fixings has been worth 5bhp ;-)

This post reminded me, :D

I was more than happy with the work I had MMc do several weeks ago, and price wise, extremely competitive, was expecting a heavier bill, which never came.
I am in soon again for service, which I am more than happy about. Everything from MMC so far, from sales, to aftercare have been top notch. I have dealt with many different dealerships in the past, and out of that many, I could count in one hand who I'd deal with again.

Just picked up my Exige after it's 'C' service and MOT. Service from Craig was excellent, also had rear toe link fixed and geo setup. Car was ready on time for collection as promised. It was like driving a new car home, even in the pouring rain. The car is cleaner inside than it has ever been, was clean outside before 40 miles of motorway in the rain. Brake disc hubs also shiny and silver.
Thanks for the great service and the SE discount, of course.

What the f*ck did they do to my car?

The exige was in for service, MOT and geo last week and like Sandy, it came back a different car. I could tell as soon as I drove off that it just felt so much better. It was just a trundle back up the A90 on the way home but I managed a wee run during the week and it certainly put a smile on my face.

Thanks again to Craig, and Brandon for getting my car set up correctly once again.

The fast road set-up is a must for me now, best money I have spent on the car by miles. The steering response is so much sharper again, after the car had been wrongly geo'd to the normal settings. The difference is really night and day between the two, and comes thoroughly recommended. :thumbsup

Craig, I must say that, 'your a man of your word', and I was really not expecting this level of service from you and Brandon. I will not post about the exact details on here, incase your inundated with everyone else wanting the same, but it was very much appreciated. :cheers

I hope that your happy with your car Ally, after getting it serviced once more, and maybe see you on 'Sweeping Up The Leaves' again soon.

I took the Glenshee road back home, and earlier I passed a Guest House in Perth where I think Sandy, (who I briefly met today, while speaking to Brandon), had his blue Exige, and a silver Elise parked in the drive. Nice motor indeed. A little bit of a coincidence that, I see the car at MMC, then pass it while travelling through Perth.

Happy Lotus driver once more :D

Roll on next weekend. :cheers

Steve.

Ps Cracking looking car with nice additions for the interior. :thumbsup
