My elise was in CMC last week for some new ball joints and a few other bits to get sorted. All done in the timescale, top quality service, and a very reasonable price. Not only did I get a left to and from the station, but Craig also lent me my train fare back to Glasgow (I had mistaken my passport in my pocket for my wallet as I rushed out the house)  . I only discovered the error of my ways after Craig had dropped me at the station...

Now, for all those happy CMC customers, go and give him some positive reviews on Google and FB :thumbsup
Hmmm. My car's been down there since early December and for various reasons work hasn't been able to start. On 17th Feb I gave Craig the green light to start stripping the car and after checking on progress yesterday it hasn't been started yet  I know he's had issues with a technician having a family bereavement but it's a bit disappointing to hear that others are having their cars turned around so quickly while i'm struggling to get any progress at all.

Credit to Craig. He phoned me straight after this post to explain the reasons behind the delay... basically the fact that he can't pre-order parts until my car is stripped and we can see what suspension parts need replaced, which would mean putting a ramp out of commission for several days and he already has 2 ramps tied up like this at the moment.

Whilst it's frustrating to not have my car back, I can appreciate the difficult position he's currently in.

Picked up the Exige last week after a service\MOT and general tidy up. Really pleased with the service and had a chat about some future work needing done on the car.

Glad to see that the garage was busy and some good feedback on here also. :thumbsup

Great service so far.
A few issues identified during a routine service, but as usual, Craig's done his best to cut costs :thumbsup
Very impressed with the new premises and very busy from what I saw.
I'll be back in a week or two to get a new rad fitted.

Robin, Monty, and Campbell drove up last weekend to return N3 and cheer me up, we saw off a roast goose and much gin, and then GraemeF and Smee joined us. They came armed with alcohol in particular a nice bottle of Old Pulteney, which was untouched as Graeme was driving and Smee polished off a bottle of Macallan instead. Verian and Campbell were last to bed at 0300, but I was definitely the one looking less for wear in the morning.

Craig presented me with the Invoice, have not had a sobbing fit  since he did the same with an even longer one for N1 many years ago, but you can see from the job sheet what was involved. I have included the parts prices as he could not do anything about those, but needless to say some of the labour seemed to have got lost along the way.

He has restored the car to the condition which it deserves to be in, and she is a pleasure to drive again. Already had two long solo runs in, and even found a new B road yesterday from near Keith to Dufftown which was totally empty and one way at the start. As usual many thanks for the standard of work but especially for the communication at every stage, and sourcing parts at the best prices that he could. The ones that I had to order gave the most problems, wrong sizes sent or not sent at all, but he took it all in his stride. And of course she was cleaned inside and out and left his garage gleaming, though Scottish weather and the Lecht and Glenshee soon changed that, plus our local farmer who spends his days transporting mud from one end of the track to the other.

Looks as if I will be able to make KH on Sunday, so a cleaning session is on the cards. Quite a while since I have been on track and another birthday has passed, 3/4 Century, so be gentle with me.

Just had the Zenos in again for a wee ECU update, as usual Craig helped me out by keeping the car until I could collect and everything was done perfectly.

He's now also got my 79' Camper in to have it's wiring done. It's a Subaru conversion so not straight forward.

Our V70 goes in next week for some new wishbones.

I'll need to have a chat with Criag, see if I can get him to start doing motorcycles too, then it would be a real one stop shop for me :-)

Keep up the good work :thumbsup

Craig had my 2010 Evora NA for a few days.
Painted my black calipers red and changed the pads all round and a fluid change (even repainted the hub centres silver without being asked - looks amazing)
9000 mile service
Fitted new splitter to front
Fitted marine grade stainless mudguard brackets
Fitted re-trimmed steering wheel

A real gent and a pleasure to do business with and even dropped me off / picked me up from the airport too.

Tut, Have you had a chance to try the HID lights out yet? If so, what did you think and which kit did you get?

A huge thanks to Craig and his team.

He went to great lengths to ensure my car was ready for the SIDC day on Saturday, he managed to source and fit parts form an alternative supplier as original source couldn't deliver on good Friday. Then after finishing the car he got it delivered to KH so it was waiting for me on my arrival at KH.

Resulted in a magic day at knockhill.

Unbelievable service, contiues to amaze with the level of personal comitment.

Thanks again

Graham
