These fellas can help you fit your track wheels, shod you with new rubber and also help fit brake pads........
I have affiliation with them whatsoever but have found they run a great service at more than reasonable prices........

That's pretty poor IMO.
Shafting you for £195 is bad enough but then ruining a wheel is a joke!!

aye, was through mmc
they seem to have balanced the front 2 wheels correctly... they were not balanced properly before.
car is 1500 miles old
the rear right wheel is pitted
the other wheels finish doesnt seem right to me - some of it goes brown when wet and then dried, and some corner seem like they have pin pricks in them
meeting lotus warranty guy on 5th april
gonna point out all thats wrong with them...
sucks big time
gonna look for a new set from dealer as its from new.
the fact that the wheels were not balanced correctly, and that one of the wheels came really badly corroded, and that the car was in stock at a different dealer (i didnt know that) seems to me that they swapped on a kak set b4 seind to mmc.
sucks

I have some paint bubbling on the rear clam so I'm going to ask for a respray on it and the stereo is knackered again so I'm going to demand a replacement one of a different model. Both of these should be warranty claims.
Also I think my geo needs done as it's pulling to the left quite drastically

Aaaah, S2 owners!
Nah, if they are new cars then this should get sorted. If you have no joy - Heathcliffe Robertshaw from Lotus was signed up as a member of S_E the last time I looked. Possibly worth contacting him directly (his email addy will be on the member list) if you don't get joy from MMC.

I used Ronnie @ Wheelsaround as a mobile fitter when I had 3 tyres slashed maybe 2 years ago. Made the trip to Dundee (think he's Perth-ish based) at about 8 on a Tuesday night, in the winter as it was dark to fit 4 tyres I happened to have laying around anyway. Great guy who it'd highly recommend beyond just using him at KH.
