Thanks to Craig for the "big" service, not as expensive as I initially thought
His new place is looking good, once I knew where it was :D
Lots of Lotus memorabilia, immaculate as you'd expect
When I went to pick up the car, another customer was waiting on Craig too, "he'll be back in a few mins", then he rocks up in a red Esprit Turbo 8)

Following all sorted

Oil plus filter
Air filter
Coolant
Gearbox oil
Brake Fluid
Spark plugs
Supercharger belt
Oh aye, the banter (that's free) and an MOT too

All running sweetly, just needs a wash for Saturday
Looking forward to doing some driving at last :thumbsup

At CMC again recently for Elise service & MOT, and to get MIL diagnosed and cleared – lovely new premises and great service, as always, from Craig and his team. :)

I didn’t realise Craig was now offering a Mother In Law clearing service. 🤔

Aberdeen Porsche Centre wanted to charge me (approx) £2200 to change rear suspension arms and a heat shield.
Took it down to Mr.Moncrieff after a chat.
His conclusion - suspension arms have nothing wrong with them and they have refixed the heat shield.
Thanks again Sir, always a pleasure doing business with you.

Thanks again to Craig for providing a first class service while I had my car in for some work the other week. I had a new windscreen fitted and also got the geometry checked at the same time too. Slight issue with my insurance company regarding the procedure required for covering the cost of removing and the refitting of the clam, but it worked out in the end.

So happy to see Craig’s business grow and he has worked very hard to get the new premises renovated and developed since acquiring. A daunting and stressful period under normal circumstances, even more so when at the height of a pandemic. Hopefully he can manage to find time to give himself a short break in the sun and enjoy a drink or two.

Well done :thumbsup

Steve.

Craig Moncrieff thank you.

Thanks again to Craig for fixing a small issue that I had with my drivers door rubbing against the lower clam.

Also went to the Odeon cinema with Ali C to see Operation Mincemeat which was really good and then up to KH for the evening SIDC session to finish the day.

Took the Evora Sport 410 to Craig yesterday - big 4 year service so spark plugs, all belts, all fluids etc. Big bill but considerably smaller than the Dealers prices and safe in the knowledge that everything would have been actually done, as opposed to a checklist being ticked to say it was done!

Great to see Craig's place developing and premises look great and the workshop certainly seemed busy - whilst picking up my car there was also Al's Red Evora S being picked up, a lovely metallic grey S being dropped off, and an Exige off home too. So a busy end to the week.

Car was faultless on the way back to Perthshire, especially the 90 mile detour through some of Fife's best roads as I just cannot stand sitting on the M90 in the Evora.

Thanks Craig for the great chat, service, and the bill! :)

In amongst all that classy stuff was our 18yo T5 camper, getting a pre-holiday pitstoppo and once-over

2 fresh tyres and a recharged aircon later, we are good to go

General reliability of our current fleet means I see less of Craig than I used to - which is a shame! - but clearly plenty custom as he rarely takes a holiday …

(Sort that out Mr Moncrieff…)

Had the car down to Craigs for its annual service along with new rear dampers and springs fitted as one of the dampers was leaking oil. The rear tailgate was adjusted too and a few items were dropped off as per SE Pony Express.

I went for a little jog along the canal and up Arthur’s Seat before going in to watch a film at the cinema to pass the time while the car was getting worked on.

The car felt so much better on the way back home.

Thank again Craig and see you soon. 8)

Jsut to as yet another glowing report. New clutch from Craig, fixing intermittent clutch slipping problem. (Incidental new handbrake cable too). Car drives great now - big improvement - and best of all, a bunch of rattles that were there are now not.

@C7`steve canal to Arthurs seat is a decent run from there! Good idea though, I will have to try that next time my car breaks.

Took the car down to Craig for a service and ended up selling it to him.
A pleasure doing business with you as usual sir - enjoy the car (well until you sell it).
New car hunt is now on.

I was thinking about it, but have joined the Yaris GR4 crowd.
