red 111r on M8 west , last thurs mornin

hey guys , spoted a nice red 111r with white stripes headin west on M8 at roughly 645 AM last thurs morn.....young asian lady driving . really interested in this car because it sounded awesome. all the youtube clips I have heard of exhausts for elises/exige, personally i thought sounded like any other boy racers banger ! . But this 111r sounded totally different , very supercar like if you no what i mean , more smoothed , tuned sound as apposed to a rough induction kit sound. As i have not had the chance to hear many lotuses in person i am very intregued to see what set up this car had as i would like mines to sound like this when i get it !

I drove past it today (it is always parked near my office) and noticed it had a stage2 fitted.

I used to have a stage2 on my exige, but there are better sounding options out there, you really need to hear them in the flesh. I replaced the stage 2 with a 2bular Ultra- mine is on youtube under exige decat.

its kinda hard to explain but you know that " ferrari" kind of sound i am on about ??.....obviously i know the lotus is still a 4 pot engine and would sound no were near like a ferrari ...but it seemed to resemble that kinda of higher pitched sound ! I swear i almost had a rager when i heard it !

oh my god m8 that is f**kin fantastic , sounds like the video of the lambo in the tuneel with the larani ! whats that system like at low revs ..i need somthing thats subtle till i sink the boot

It was loud, but then the car itself looked loud even when it wasnt moving so I was fine with it.

G/friend - your not gettiing an exhaust for that go kart lotus .....
ME - dont worry bout it ....it wont sound like my modded 1.3 fiesta did
G/Friend - no chance the car LOOKS loud enough
ME - Exactly it needs a matching soundtrack !

JJ M8 , what exactly was fitted in that clip ..tubular ultra , de cat ..any air filter ?
