I followed and asked for a passenger ride in it but he was going into his work for a meeting. :D

He mentioned the forum, and that I should take the car to knockhill. I was just back from the Isle of Skye and I still think I enjoyed that more than I would any track day. Could be wrong tho. :p

Betcha that was George.

Get your ass on a TD, you're quick enough to be up there with the fastest and trust me, you have no idea what these things will do until you push them in the safety of the track. It's amazing how subconscously you don't quite go to the ragged edge on the road (and I've seen you drive remember) ;)

Wouldn't know where to start! Do I need a helmet? Insurance? I can drive fast I suppose but having never even spectated at a track day I just wouldn't have a clue.

Helmets can be hired at the track.
Insurance is optional and expensive, most dont bother.

Go along to the SIDC day and grab some pax laps to get a feel.
