Also spotted a very tasty 220bhp Honda S2 and there was a Scottish chap with a '99 Azure Blue S1 who now lives in Hampshire, but he remembered a few folk from on here (including Tut & Robin). He was on the 2001 SE Ring trip (called SERT 2001??). Can't remember his name which is terrible as I grabbed a very quick and capable PAX lap with him!

No, I didn't get a chance. Every time I saw the cars they were either sitting empty in the car park or were heading onto the track.
It was a bit of a disjointed weekend with lots of accidents (some pretty bad). A few bikers were helicoptered to hospital, some tw@t in a Porsche drove 12km with a fluid leak on the track and took down several bikers and cars as a result and then this accident closed the track for the best part of 2 hours!

The car went over the armco and tumbled down a ravine into trees. Driver is apparently in hospital in a serious condition
The rest of the weekend was however superb and the weather very hot and sunny. Also ate dinner at Sabine's restaurant on the Saturday night and it tuns out that Ben Lovejoy (of Nurburgring website fame) was sitting at the table next to us!

The theft or the crash??
Crash was very bad, car came down Brunchen turning right, lost the back end onto the dust/grass on the left side of the track the car then came back onto the tarmac side on, gripped and shot across the track, hitting the kerb on the inside and launching itself over the 3 high armco and down the ravine. Really not nice
And clearly the theft isn't good either! Hope they catch the tw@ts
