Exige - Park Ave, Dunfermline

Post by pfw » Tue Sep 04, 2007 11:14 am

Titanium, 55 plate 8) . You were parked outside the dentist at about 0840 - hope it wasn't anything too painful.

Kids got quite excited as I think it's the first Exige they've seen in the flesh :D - we then had a long discussion about the merits of semi slick tyres and whether "blue Vauxhalls are faster" on the way to school.

Ooopss, just seen this post!. I also spotted it as well.
pfw - you spotted me last year when I had the chrome orange elise! Got a 340R now - would like to see what your kids think about that!
I drive along Park Avenue every morning but in a 330 convertible BMW with K10 *** on it! If you see me, give me a wave and then I'll atleast know who you are! Didn't even know there was a dentist there and I've worked in Dunfermline for 9 years!!!!

Hi Karen - I'll keep an eye out. The kids would *love* a 340R 8)

I'm walking along there with the kids on the way to school at about 0840 most mornings. I'm the fat bloke with the poor dress sense. Luckily the kids seem to have got their genes from the postman and have been described as "remarkably well looking" by a friend

Will watch out for you then! Is it a boy and girl that you have? Trying to remember back when you all waved at me in the orange beastie!

Yep - boy and girl (8 and 6). Also have a baby but he's back in bed by then having been up for 3 hours :? ...

Car was still there at 1730 according to the kids. Maybe the new dentist has an Exige :D

Mike

I take it you don't take the car every day to work then or have I just been asleep driving along Park Avenue? The speed bumps round there are hell as is the parking every day, thankfully the ESPC give me a parking space behind the office!!! The BMW is sparkly graphite and if I see you climbing out of your car some morning, I'll wave.

Yep, I'm a patient. I think I have an appt. soon :( so I'll say hi

I objected to the speedbumps but to no avail. And as for the parking and the one way system - don't get me started. Watch for the last speed bump on the slope before turning right into Park Ave - it's easy to scrape the undertray on it if you take it at more than 1mph

If you see/hear a blue VX on the street - that's me :D

Ah, now I know what you drive :) I did wonder since the post you put up about spotting me previously as I never seemed to see any Loti around the street! Looks like if I ever need to take the 340R to work (will we ever get the weather is what I have to ask although it aint been too bad lately), I'll be avoiding your street!

Lol....yeah that last speed bump is the worst....check the tell-tale scrapes into the tarmac...think its mostly from people braking going over it. I have zero trouble round there....going really slowly of course.

So...its a blue VX....cool.

Karen...I dont take it every day...and also i dont work there every day :D thats why you havent seen it.... I'll watch for your sparkly car and fluffy dogs!
