I tried different routes to avoid the roadworks last week but forgot they were there this morning till I joined the queue - a full week and still little sign of anything having been done - everyone just puts up with delays without question

I'm heading in the opposit direction, so it is not usually a problem for me.

I'll let you know when the roadworks are lifted.

Pleased I am on flexitime as e.t.a. at work just now is totally dictated by the traffic jam. Leaving earlier/ later seems to be a pointless .
