Hi Gordon, that was me. And I've finally been forced out of lurking mode in order to reply. :)

You're right - it is a 135R but it's fitted with standard elise alloys with Yoko 039s ( and a hardtop  ) for winter. Hope to get the OZ / 048 combo re-fitted soon.

I really wasn't in the chippy - I'm quite fat enough already - I was in my second home ( Corrieri's cafe ) drinking coffee with Pete Corrieri who co-incidently also owns a blue 135R and frequents Knockhill on a regular basis.

Hi Ali - yes it's me :D

Hi j ( sorry don't know your first name ) - I was also in the same year at school so I reckon we must be talking about Jamie :?: If so, as well as being in the same class at school we lived in the same place in Edinburgh as first year students. I seem to remember your mum :?: having a very nice MG Midget at the time. If so say hi to them both :wave

Yes that would have been Mum, think thats why me and my wee brother don't get grief about buying daft cars as Mum was the same at our age! Also what would have been the first MG of dozens they had until recently.... My old man drove my S1 once I think and didnt like it, and has yet to try the Exige (I might not get it back if he has a shot!)

He has just been telling me about your £7 a week  rented room in Edinburgh from a Mrs Jamieson or something!
