Ninja,

Yes I did get your note, I bricked it as from afar I thought it was a parking ticket!

You cant miss it! Dont take it into work much so you wont have spied it.

On a side note which may interest you, the council are going ahead with the permits for businesses in the area, which is good, £60ish for the year from memory.

It will be a great car to buy after J.
He's never had it over 30mph.

someone who cares for their vehicle so as to ensure its value is retained and they dont drive a shed

Word on the street......

There is a lady who lives up the street from us who has been campaigning the council to get them introduced and told us yesterday that they had decided to go ahead and issue permits for businesses. I am not sure how many per company etc, but its easy to see why - the streets around us are half occupied, so if they sell 1,000 permits at 60quid or whatever then its better for them.

I hope you are right but I'll believe it when I see it mate.

It almost certainly wont be at the same rate as residents permits of £60, it would cost around a grand a year to park on the meters. Just cant see the money grabbing anti car barstewards going for that. I would reckon more like a couple of hundred at least, and probably quite limited numbers per business address.

Let me know if you hear more, I would be very happy to be proved wrong

I too am sceptical, but you never know..... by all accounts the metering hasnt gone as well as the coucil hoped as many streets have few cars during the day parking.

I see her walking about often, so I`ll ask her myself and see what / who / when etc.
