Gareth in the 340r

Post by hendeg » Sat Jun 11, 2011 4:33 pm

Earlier this afternoon in Peterculter.

Not looking you were enjoying the weather too much.

I hope you were a good boy as there was a traffic car about 30 seconds behind you.

Also spotted passing Morrisons in Dundee behind an orange Caterham, about 30 seconds past a scamera van.

The pair looked awesome in the rain, though I bet it wasn't so great from your perspective!

Yeah, passed 3 scameras on the way back from KH.
Bizarrely, we drove through torrential rain and I didn't get wet. Rain comes in the sides of the 340r but I had waterproof trousers on so still stayed bone dry.
Of course, slow down and you get wet.

There was another one Gareth coming out of Aberdeen, so that makes four.

There weren't any when we drove up after we had lunch in Dunfermline. But there was an accident on the other side of the road north of Dundee. Was about 5 traffic police cars in attendance. Looked like someone had crossed from our side over to a road on the other side in front of another car travelling the other way. Didn't want to stare so not sure if anyone was injured. Certainly didn't see any ambulances and none passed us, but they could have come from Dundee.

Here is a good idea, lets park a van on a road junction so that it hides the road signs.

Completely forgot you'd finished building the 7, looked amazing on the road, I bet you were smiling through the slip sliding way though :)

My scary moment was the change of road surface at Brechin.
Car went light :(
