Did see you Andy in the Pimpmobile but did not respond in time.
Used the A96 for the first time for years as opposed to via Tomintoul as my front brake pads wore out two days ago, but what a crap road it is for the first 50 miles. Elgin and Fochabers seem to go on for ever, but at least I was able to blast past at the first whiff of a gap.
