Oh god talk about pandora,s box well I really canna be bothered my wife bought flip paint thing on motor show at a much reduced price as graham was desperate to sell everything on stand it was possibly 2004 ish and I believe 27k was price so in two ish years I lost 9k think I would of lost same on a mondeo etc any way no idea how brown car came about as it was an insurance replacement and had a long debate over getting car in flip, lotus refused to paint in original flip so we just told Motorsport to pick a colour purple/bronze ish but again they did not chose the extreme flip that seemed better, I must admit I would of taken 10k for car as I hated it so the extra was pure profit to me as even graham had doubts when I wanted him to take it as a trade in, still I bought and sold four s2's in about 5 years so at the time depreciation never came into it we just bought next model so hey ho remember the good times, just a note as a lotus owner I have never cared what happens in straight lines as they seem dull compared to bends no matter what top end!!!!!!!!
