Any frenchmen out there?

Post by cla5h » Wed Oct 04, 2006 9:58 am

Was filling up at the new Tesco, Pollok on Sun AM.

Assistant1: "Ooh, whit sort of car is that. There was a yellow wan in yesterday, an he wis French, I thought you might be French, too"

Me: "A Lotus, blah, blah..."

Assistant2: "Ooh, a Lotus. Just like in Pretty Woman - Richard Gere had a Lotus" (is this true, anyone?)

Assistant1: "Was it dear? How much did it cost? Do you get all the burds, etc, etc"

I'd have offered to take her for a spin, but she was the wrong side of 50 for my liking.

Yeah - but Gear drove the esprit in "pretty woman" - "corners like it's on rails" & "lights, lights would be good"

Mac, you're obviously a big fan of the movie, as the quotes just slip from your tongue!

A sucker for the everday tale of a down-on-her-luck working girl getting picked up by rich businessman love story, eh?
