It's not there now - has someone here made an offer?

Or perhaps my actions have spurred him to recommission it?
And.......just drove past and it's sitting in his driveway, looking like it's being used 8)

Feel like I've done something for the good of a nice wee car :thumbsup

Yeah, approx 18mths after querying he's obviously spent some money getting it back on the road - he'll secretly be thankful for my inadvertent boot up the chuff :thumbsup

A bit of a thread resurrection....

I still drive past this property regularly, and noticed the wee 111S hasn't moved, a quick check shows the MOT expired nearly 4yrs ago :(

So after my good intentions It appears he ran it a couple of years and then let it sit again :|

No shower cape this time

Shame, you could try a note again, but it's unlikely he'll sell.

You did try!
Should ring the bell again and ask, It would be interesting to see how much he would want.... if he was to sell it!
question is, does he keep an eye on their value? As this thread goes back to "Offer him 6k" when now he'd have double at least!

Thread update.

Car is still sitting there.

It's bloody criminal!

I'm now looking for a fun car to share garage space with the old Alfa and this would be ideal, so might drop a card through the door.

Maybe.

Haha well reviewing this thread was a fair trip down memory lane

8 years back - OMG

Well I only have one Lotus again now … but this time I don’t think I’m allowed 2

Although our James has worked out that he can get insured on an S1 as a newly qualified driver for not stupid money. OMG again …

We’re in St Andrews this Sunday. Shall I pop over to Dundee and put a card and flowers through the door!
