S2 in Cupar
Grey S2 passed me in the main street of Cupar, after i just parked. I waved, but no reply.

Not sure who that was, but I did wonder if I spotted your car the week before Christmas.haggis catcher wrote:Grey S2 passed me in the main street of Cupar, after i just parked. I waved, but no reply.
It was a silver S1 heading up the hill towards Pitscottie. Hard top on and a lady with a hat driving. It was about lunchtime.
I was in the mondeo but autopilot was on and my hand was waving before I knew it
Ashamed to say that my elise has not seen daylight since 1st December. Beginning to wish I had put it on SORN for a couple of months. Last time I had it out I polished it and am now loathed to get it dirty

It'll have to be driven soon or I think the battery will go flat. Started it a couple of weeks ago and put the hard top on to keep any dampness out.
I don't find it much fun driving it in the current road conditions. A mondeo might not be everyones cup of tea, but is sheer luxury compared to an S1 in this weather. Why don't all cars destined for Scotland have quick clear screens?
And Craig, you have no need to drive my car. You have a lovely S2 111S to play with
No point in getting 2 cars dirty

I have only just put the hard top on, so that was not my wife. Are you local to Cupar Stewart?Stewart wrote:Not sure who that was, but I did wonder if I spotted your car the week before Christmas.haggis catcher wrote:Grey S2 passed me in the main street of Cupar, after i just parked. I am sure I gave chase to you one night probably shortly after you got the elise in late summer. I was heading out of Cupar towards Springfield. I was just back from a long road run so gave up at Clushford Toll (Springfield crossroads) and turned back home.
I am sure that we will bump into one another soon - hopefully not literally
