McKean en route home from KH?

Post by campbell » Sun Jan 28, 2007 11:31 pm

You were just approaching Newton village westbound in a very dirty yellow S1...guess it HAD to be you!

We were, coversely, just leaving Newton village eastbound in a very shiny just washed black Golf Gti Mk4. But I know which of my cars I'd rather have been driving today ;-) 'Cept the flippin battery was flat again, wasn't it. On trickle charger now...permanently...until the end of the winter, just in case another good day presents itself!

that was me, having an easy run back after KH.

I came in to work today, and my boss spotted me at exactly the same point. You didnt happen to be in a slow moving traffic jam behind a silver ford focus??

Why, was your boss in the Focus?!

TBH, don't know what was holding us up, was kinda cruising as we had Eilidh on board and were just trying to decide where to stop for a wee seaside walk. She had her doll's pram raring to go for first outdoor unleashing...ended up at South Queensferry, v pleasant.

I am finding it quite sobering that I frequently miss out on all sorts of petrolhead stuff now in favour of "family days out"...must be getting old!
