We split in to two groups anyway - one for the more experienced roadrunners and one for the less. It's a learning curve.

Rob, I'm happy to take you out for an IAM demo drive sometime.

Me too ... well about 10 years ago now  Once did an IAM driver of the year competition... finished 6th in Scotland (out of about 30). I was the token young person in my local group (Milngavie & Bearsden). The stuffy old duffers eventually killed off that club.. AFAIK.

Dezzy, let us know where & when your group are having meets.. or wee driving competitions / tests etc.

I have tried and tried to switch off my tractor beam but unfortunately the button is stuck to the on position :o

I loved the run, being the first time since Dastek last year that I have driven the S2 I was more than happy with the pace. Sometimes could have been faster, but I can understand where Mac is coming from, especially following that Jeep. When you effectively get sandblasted from the car infront its not easy to see properly and overtake.

Sorry Rob, if I was a bit close at times, I will try harder next time :P
