Silvery coloured Morgan Aero8, roof down, looking utterly 8) in the frost.

Nice touch with the fancy hat & stogie

I do believe it was the chap who has been on at KH a few times, and also has one of the blue & silver racing Moggies :D

Never had a Capri, a Magnum Ecosse maybe, or even a dodgy Cooper S, bought from Crieffs own Arthur Daley!!

Remember them well. Gold 3.0S from 'The Professionals' White RS2000 too. Used to like the 2.8i with the pepper pot wheels. I'm sure you used to get 'X-Pack' kits to bolt on big arches, engine mods etc. I was only 10 at the time  When you think back now they really were cr*p

:-)

My Dad had two - a Mk1 and a Mk3, I believe. The Mk1 was maroon with a vinyl roof. Whatever was the attraction of a vinyl roof eh. Fitting colour, though, since he was playing with Heart of Midlothian at the time 8)

Campbell

You have a famous father?

On the Capri front.......
One of the strangest cars I have ever seen was in a friends private car collection.
It was a 3.1 litre Ford Capri that was originally owned by Jackie Stewart. The car had undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration and had some highly modified (Broadspeed?) engine/gearbox/diffential. The restoration cost over £40,000 in 1988!!
He stated that it attracted more attention in the garage amongst all the usual exotica because of the "my Dad/GrandadUncle/Mate had one " factor

Wonder wher it is now?

That certainly sounds like some Capri! I confess to being interested in the runout "280" brooklands green edition when I was a spotty teenager, but I have since undergone treatment and I'm more or less on the straight and narrow now :-)
