Some kind of Bermuda triangle?! Isn't the M74 pretty straight?!

I'm fairly sure that there's quite a sharp left hand bend (coming Northbound), which if approached at usual cruising speeds (circa 90tuts) can cause a bit of a surprise. I'm assuming it's this bit that catches people out..??

there was a horrible crash there yesterday (opposite services)
It looked like someone had cut onto the northbound m73 slip just behind a an artic lorry. Then the lorry in front hit the anchors and the the same size lorry behind didnt brake in time.
There was absolutely nothing left of the silver (unidentifiable) car

Guys the bit of road in question is straight. The problem is that water often flows across it diagonally from the side to the center reservation at a 60 - 70 deg angle which i think causes the tyres to loose grip one at a time causing a spin.
Poor road design / drainage would seem to be the problem.
Oh and its not just elises I have seen other makes too.
If you're not living on the edge you're wasting too much space!

No less than Micras deserve mind you.
[joke]
As with others - impressed that occupant(s) ok from that mess. Couple of sections of M9 near me suffer from bad drainage as well actually, thankfully I know the trouble spots and plan ahead but often see others getting caught out and jumping on anchors etc. Worst examples are where leaves etc have blocked the drains on driver side camber of m-way, resulting in long deep puddles on edge of the "fast lane". Narsty.
