Post by The Hoff » Mon Mar 31, 2008 9:52 am

Spotted just before Crocketford.. I know there is somebody in Dumfries who's got one, wondering if it's the same car..

It was me. I was heading back from Kirkcudbright. It was a great afternoon for a run out. I saw a red TVR Chimaera heading the other way not far from Crocketford followed not long later by VS in his Ferrari 360. Did you see either at any point?

Just thinking. Were you in the Red Chimaera?

No.. I was in my Mazda 6 going the other way.. I was very jealous.. I never seem to get time off when it's nice weather.. If you spot a grey Exige S in the area ,then that will most likely be me. Do you have contact with Andy at all ? Orange S1 with black stripes.. Not seen him about in ages.

cheers,

No I've not met Andy with the orange S1. I see it parked a lot as it's on my way home. I had a laugh tonight though, he's managed to create a space in his garden and has squeezed the elise in past a road bollard, it looks as though it had been dropped in by a crane. If you fancy a run out sometime just let me know. I quite enjoy driving along the coastal roads and especially to Thornhill, Dalvine Pass, Old A74 and then beeftub into Moffat. I'll keep an eye out for you.

We could get quite a good number for a run down here. I know of at least 4 other owners. There's a new S2 owner in DFS but don't know who yet. It's red and I've seen it the golf club a few times. I know a few TVR guys as well so some sort of road trip could be arranged.

Cheers

Yep.. certainly worth doing a run some time. The weather will be getting better shortly and at least we all (probably) know the area quite well. I'm sure we'll be in touch very soon :thumbsup ! (perhaps in a a couple of weeks time? I'm away abroad this weekend and am working the next.)

cheers,
